Includes wonderful weekly devotions, prayers, etc., combined with the sermons of many of the great pastors of the day, including Spurgeon, Ryle, Guthrie, Candlish, etc.
Would make for a nice personal or family devotional book. Not very common to run across in the United States.
Has nice lithograph drawings of biblical scenes, along with portraits of some of the contributing ministers; includes Spurgeon, Guthrie, and Candlish, notably, which those individual pages hold intrinsic value by themselves.
Pages are discolored and slightly stained in places, commensurate with age, and covers/binding shows some wear, but binding is sound and pages are solidly intact.
